Filtasca Terms of Service
These Terms govern access to and use of Filtasca, a business operating system provided by Filtasca Technology Limited (“Filtasca”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business or organisation you represent.
1. Your account and authority
You must provide accurate account information, keep login credentials secure, and use Filtasca only where you are authorised to act for the relevant business. Workspace Owners are responsible for inviting users, assigning access and removing access when it is no longer required.
2. The service
Filtasca provides business-management tools that may include customer records, services, invoices, payments, receipts, projects, tasks, team management, payroll records, payslips, staff communications, reporting and other features made available from time to time. Features may differ by plan, country, configuration or release stage.
3. Trial and paid subscriptions
Eligible new workspaces may receive a time-limited trial. A trial may end automatically at the stated expiry date. After expiry, Filtasca may place the workspace in read-only mode until an eligible paid plan is activated. Existing records are not deleted merely because a trial or subscription expires.
Paid subscription prices, billing cycles and included features are those displayed at checkout or in Plan & Billing at the time of purchase. Taxes or payment-provider charges may apply where required. Cancellation, renewal and any refund rights are subject to the purchase terms shown at the time of payment and applicable law.
4. Your data
You retain responsibility for the business information, customer information, employee information and other content you or your authorised users place in Filtasca. You must have a lawful basis or other appropriate authority to upload, store, process and communicate that information.
You grant Filtasca the limited rights necessary to host, process, back up, transmit and display your data in order to provide, secure and support the service.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Filtasca to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, bypass security controls, abuse communication features or use another person’s account without authority.
6. Payments and third-party services
Filtasca may connect to third-party services such as payment processors, email providers, hosting providers, messaging services and other integrations. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Filtasca is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, outages or policies.
7. Payroll, tax and compliance tools
Filtasca may help organise payroll, tax, finance, regulatory or compliance information, but the platform does not replace professional legal, tax, accounting or regulatory advice. The business remains responsible for reviewing its records, filings, remittances and statutory obligations.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Filtasca reliable and secure, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, improve, replace or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, operational or product reasons.
9. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, non-payment, abuse, suspected unauthorised use, legal requirements or material breach of these Terms. Workspace Owners may also deactivate their own users. Where practicable, affected businesses will be given information about restoring access.
10. Intellectual property
Filtasca and its software, branding, interface, documentation and platform materials are owned by or licensed to Filtasca Technology Limited. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you. Your business retains ownership of its own content and records.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Filtasca is provided as a business software service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise that every feature will meet every business requirement or that the service will never experience an error, interruption or third-party outage. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product, law or our operations change. Material updates will be communicated through the platform, email or another reasonable channel. Continued use after an updated effective date may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.
13. Governing framework
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer, data-protection or other rights that apply to a user in another jurisdiction.
